Why is it called the Bahrain Grand Prix if it's in Malaysia?
Bahrain's race, originally scheduled for April 2026, was cancelled. Malaysia agreed to host the rescheduled event at Sepang — and as part of the deal, Bahrain kept the naming rights. So the official name is the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia. One race, two countries in the title.
